Whenever there is any change to the technology environment, the Configuration Manager, along with the Asset Manager, must
review the Technology Asset And Configuration Management Plan. This should be done to check if the plan is still valid with
respect to the changes or it needs to be updated. For example: many technology configuration items can get updated or new
technology configuration items may be added. There can also be changes to the Technology Configuration Management Tools
used for repositories or the CMDB. Therefore the Technology Asset And Change Management Plan must be reviewed and updated
to reflect the current status of the technology assets, technology configuration items and the overall technology
environment.
The Technology Asset And Configuration Management Plan must be reviewed by the agreed stakeholders (as mentioned in the
Service Governance Plan) and baselined.
